Sunday 10th 4am DAWN CHORUS Great Barrington. Meet at Park Farm (SP207138) on the Rissington road just past the War Memorial.

Sunday 24th 2pm LARDON CHASE Turn right at The Bull, Streatley (pub lunch available) then proceed to the top of the hill and turn right into National Trust Car Park. (SU588809) Butterflies, wild flowers, red kites, buzzards, etc.

Wednesday 17th 7pm GREYSTONES FARM Bourton-on-the-Water. Meet at Station Road public car park (SP170209). Farming activity has been carried out for 5,000 years! Now partly SSSI the land is managed in a “relaxed” manner mainly as cattle pasture. Has archaeological and aquatic interest.

Tuesday 23rd 6.30pm MINSTER LOVELL. Circular walk 3m from Minster Lovell ruins via Crawley, near Witney – some stiles, two hills. Meet in parking area at top of lane leading to ruins (SP322113).

Saturday 4th 10.30am WARBURG RESERVE, Bix near Henley-on-Thames (SU720879) Meet at car park for a guided tour of approximately 1 – 2 hours – more time may be spent to explore after the tour. Pub lunch available at The Rainbow, Middle Assendon.

Wednesday 15th 7pm TADPOLE BRIDGE for a Thames-side walk. Meet at the Trout public house (SP335004) on the Bampton to Buckland unclassified road.

Saturday 8th 2.30pm FIFIELD A circular walk of about 3m. From Burford to Stow road (A424) take the unclassified road to Fifield from opposite the Merrymouth Inn. Go through the village to a green which can be used for parking. (SP242188)

Saturday 17th 2pm FUNGUS FORAY Bernwood Forest (Oakley Wood) Meet in the Reserve car park. Take the Oakley/Brill road from Stanton St John. The car park is on the right soon after the Horton-cum-Studley road joins from the left (SP612118). Lunch available at The Star, Stanton St John – approximately 1-2 miles from Bernwood.
