Sunday 13th 11am SLIMBRIDGE; Wildfowl and Wetlands
Trust. Meet in the car park. An entry charge is payable. Waterfowl
are usually in their best plumage at this time. In addition to
the collections there are hides from which to view wild birds feeding
on the mud and marshes of the nearby River Severn.

Friday 7th March ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING followed by
Peter Sheasby - ‘Flowers of Kazakhstan’.
Sunday 9th 2pm ARDLEY QUARRY (SP 53_ 27_) A professional
geologist has agreed to lead us in the large quarry at Ardley and
the geology and palaeontology exposed by the quarrying operations.
