car park off the B489 Aston Clinton to Pitstone road (east of Aylesbury,
1 mile north of the A41/B489 junction). Close views of winter wildfowl,
waders and thrushes, plus small scrubland and woodland species.

for display or identification. Plus a fiendish quiz.
10.30 am VISIT TO OVER NORTON PARK FARM & WALK FARM, OX7
5PX led by Mike Kettlewell to see farmland birds. Meet at the 'Pig
Farm' on left off the A3400 by the radio mast about 400m north of
the roundabout with the A361 road to Banbury. The farm has been
in Stewardship schemes for 15 years to increase biodiversity. The
bird feeding programme includes millet year round to help Tree Sparrows
and Reed Bunting and from December to May mixed feeding to attract
Chaffinches, Yellowhammers, Linnets, Skylarks and Corn Bunting etc.

10.30 am NORTH MEADOW, CRICKLADE. An old hay meadow, now a National
Nature Reserve and an SSSI with the largest UK population of Snakes
Head Fritillaries. The meadow has been managed by residents of Cricklade
for hundreds of years through the Court Leet which is still involved
in its management. Possible guided walk at 11 am. Tea room open
from 10am to 5pm. Car parking in the town, from where the reserve
can be reached by public footpaths - about 20 minutes' walk NW of

you find the meeting point where the two tracing lines intersect.
